The 2014 Middle School (aged) Football clinic has begun registering for the Spring Clinic & Fall Season

Spring Dates:

May 1st thru May 30th

Monday – Friday

6:00 – 8:00p.m.

Location:

Pirates – MHS practice fields

Bulldogs – FPS practice fields

 

 Registration Information & Options:

  • FEES: $40 (nonrefundable)
  • Online at www.flaglerpal.org
  • In person at the PAL office
  • In person between 5:30 and 6 p.m. the first night of camp

POP Warner Challenger Football & Cheer

We are VERY excited to announce that we are forming a Challenger Football Team this year.   This is a flag team for special needs children ages 5-16. This team will be a complementary part of our organization, sharing like jerseys and game field playing time. If you, or anyone you know, has a child that may be interested please see the attached flyers for details. If you, or anyone you know, may be interested in helping out with this growing portion of our program please email me back and let me know what your qualifications are.
 
Registration for this team will be held on April 30th from 6-7:30pm at the Flagler PAL Office. Cost to participate is $60. Please bring payment and your child’s original Birth Certificate with you at the time of registration.
 
 Our Challenger Cheer program continues after a succesful 2013 inaugural season. For specific Challenger Cheer program questions please contact: Cheer Commissioner, Cheryl Hornstein  Cheer@FlaglerPAL.org

We are currently accepting Head Coach applicants for the upcoming 2014 Pop Warner Football Season. Please email J at football@flaglercountypal.org if you are interested. Please list which team it is you are interested in coaching and why. Deadline to apply is April 1st.

Fall 2014 POP Warner Football Season

Registration for the upcoming season will be held in the 
Buddy Taylor Middle School Cafeteria
 April 14, 16, 22 and 24 from 6:30-8pm. 

The cost per player is $185, or $145 with proof of State Benefits. 
**To receive discounted registration, a copy of the participants 
State Aid letter  must be presented at the time of registration. **
 
The following three items are REQUIRED at the time of registration:

ORIGINAL Birth Certificate, 1 copy of birth cert, and a $100
 non-refundable deposit (which is part of the total registration
 fee). Participant MUST also be present to weigh in.

2014 Flagler PAL Cheer Volunteer Questionnaire

Pop Warner cheer is open to those between the age 5-15 by July 31, 2014. 


The season begins August 1. The 1st 2 weeks are mandatory conditioning period where there will be practice Mon-Friday. After that, depending on age/ squad level practices will be 2-3 times a week. All games are on Saturdays. The football season runs through October, with the possibility of playoffs after regular season. 

All of our cheer squads compete at the ECC District Cheer Competition at the end of October. From there, the squads have the chance to move on to the Regional competition, which is held in Orlando Thanksgiving weekend. Further advancement could mean Nationals at Disney in December.

Monday, May 5th, 6:00p.m. – 7:30p.m

Saturday, May 10th, 10:00a.m. – 12:00noon

Registration will be held at the PAL office.

2014 Spirit Age Matrix:   Please note that there are overlaps in age and participants are placed on squads with multiple considerations in place, like birthdates, school attending, and squad sizes.
 
Falcon Fire:  Special needs 5-16
Tiny Mite: 5-6 Years
Mitey Mite: 7-8 Years
Junior Pee Wee:  8-9 Years
Pee Wee: 9-11 Years
Junior Midget:  11-12 Years
Midget: 13-15 Years
